Terms & Conditions

Client Information

Preciva Health offers a doctor-led wellness service focused on whole-person care. We integrate evidence-informed principles from functional, metabolic, regenerative, and lifestyle medicine, alongside nutritional therapy, with an emphasis on wellness, prevention, and optimising overall physical and mental well-being.

Consultations are conducted remotely or, where appropriate, at in-person locations arranged individually with each client.

Non-Emergency Care: PrecivaHealth does not provide urgent or emergency medical services. For immediate assistance, please contact your registered GP, NHS 111, or dial 999 in the case of an emergency.

Appointments and Contacting

Please contact Preciva Health at info@precivahealth.com

Please inform of us in advance, if you have any disability or language barrier that could affect your access to support. We will do our best to accommodate, where reasonably possible. At this time, we do not offer a video signing or translation service. Such consultations will need to be in person and you will need to make your own arrangements with extra support.

Out of hours

We do not offer out of hours care. Responses to emails will be provided on a 9am-5pm basis, Monday to Friday. We will endeavour to respond to emails within 48 hours, but may take up to 5 working days.

Treatment

All assessments and treatments are conducted by qualified, registered, and insured practitioners. These practitioners work within their defined scope of practice. This scope is dictated by their relevant governing body.

We offer a choice of appointments in a safe and clean environment. You can expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We ensure no discrimination based on ethnicity, belief, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or gender reassignment.

Aftercare and Follow-Up Support

Our aftercare services are designed to support you in implementing your personalised health plan effectively. The consultation fee includes:

  • Up to two follow-up emails for clarifications, concerns, or minor adjustments. These exchanges are limited in scope and intended to address questions directly related to the initial consultation.
  • Guidance on managing common concerns or side effects associated with your plan.
  • A detailed consultation summary outlining key findings and recommendations.

Follow-up emails must be utilised within 28 days of your consultation to ensure timely guidance while the details remain fresh. If your concerns evolve or require extensive support, additional consultations can be scheduled at an agreed fee.

We also provide access to supplementary resources, including educational materials and guidance on recommended therapies. All patient interactions and updates are securely documented for continuity of care.

Fees and Payment

A booking with us is confirmed when you inform us of your acceptance. This must be done through written consent via email. We send a confirmation email through our platform. A binding contract will form between you and us. This happens as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation. The confirmation will detail your booking. Payment for consultations must be settled before the consultation. Invoices for any treatments, supplements or tests ordered directly through us will be sent by invoice. Payments via invoice should be paid within 7 days. Any late payments may incur additional charges of between 1.5-5% of the service fee. You must pay the amount stated within the invoice relevant to the service you are committing to. Otherwise, we reserve the right to seek legal action. We accept most major credit cards, cash or cheques with a cheque guarantee card.

Fees for administrative procedures such as completion of insurance claim forms, medical reports, communication with other providers, passport application forms etc. are charged extra and at the standard rate as recommended by the British Medical Association.

Pathology fees for the analysis of any tests, swabs, or other samples are not included in the cost of consultation. Prices are available on request. The costs of these tests vary enormously depending on what is being tested. Patients should ask the doctor about the likely cost of any tests. This should be done at the time of consultation.

The Preciva health reserves the right to review and change the pricing. This may happen due to reasons affecting the business. Some reasons include new custom charges for overseas shipping. Other reasons are increased taxes, inflation, and additional fees incurred to support the business running.

Cancellations

We will be as understanding as possible if you circumstances change and need to cancel. However, it can sometimes be difficult to fill appointments cancelled at the last minute. It is also challenging if someone fails to turn up. To discourage this, we reserve the right to charge 75% of the full fee. This charge applies if the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the consultation time. This time frame is during working days Monday to Friday 9-5pm. If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours notice, we will provide a full refund. The refund will be given minus any card fees incurred. Alternatively, you can rearrange your appointment time at no extra cost. This is possible if you give notice within 24 hours with a reasonable excuse.

Insurances

Clients must make payment upfront to Preciva Health, if their fees will be covered by private medical insurance. It is the client’s responsibility to secure a refund under their insurance terms. Every effort will be made to assist this process. For example, if a letter is required to support the claim, we will be happy to do this. However, we will not deal with the insurance company directly.

Clients are advised to check carefully the terms of their insurance to verify that such treatment is covered.

In all circumstances patients are responsible for the payment of their treatment.

Confidentiality and data protection

All patient data is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR 2018.

Medical records are stored electronically and accessed only by authorised personnel. We may disclose information to appropriate health professionals. This includes your NHS GP. We do this when communicating about your presenting condition.

It is not common practice to write to your NHS GP and/or referring specialist. If you do want this to happen, please inform your clinician. Additional fees will apply.

Patients have the right to access information held about them. To obtain this information, or if you have any concerns about data protection at the Clinic please contact us.

Complaints Procedure

If a patient is unhappy with any of the services, they can use our complaints procedure. This option is also available if they are dissatisfied with the care we have provided. This procedure ensures all grievances are addressed rapidly and efficiently for the benefit of all parties concerned.

Patients are welcomed to contact us at any time. They can register a complaint or discuss any concerns about their treatment. We will make every effort to resolve the complaint in an appropriate manner and to a mutual satisfaction.

We will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 2 working days. We will investigate complaints about clinical matters. Where relevant, we will also investigate any other visiting practitioner with practicing privileges who may be connected with the complaint.

After a thorough investigation, we will arrange a meeting. During the meeting, we can discuss the matter openly. It will be recorded and hopefully resolved. A full response will be made in writing. It will set out the conclusion of the investigation and any action. This is to be done within 20 working days of receipt of the complaint.
